Product Introduction
DU-90A is a premium anti-UV TPU material under the DU series, developed and produced by Dingzhi Polymer—a professional TPU raw material manufacturer established in 2008. As a core product in Dingzhi’s anti-UV TPU lineup, it is designed to solve the problem of material degradation caused by long-term UV exposure, making it suitable for demanding outdoor or UV-rich application scenarios.
In terms of performance, DU-90A exhibits outstanding comprehensive properties. Its processability is superior, compatible with both injection molding and extrusion molding.Mechanically, it delivers a tensile strength, a tear strength, and a breaking elongation, demonstrating strong resistance to stretching and tearing. Most critically, it achieves an anti-UV level of 4 with long-term stable UV resistance: after 48h/168h of UV radiation, its color difference (ΔE) remains <1, effectively preventing material aging, discoloration, or brittleness caused by UV rays.

Applications

DU-90A is mainly used in the production of HFFR (Halogen-Free Flame-Retardant) wires and cables. Its stable UV resistance ensures that the cables maintain structural integrity and electrical performance even when installed outdoors or in environments with strong light, avoiding insulation failure caused by UV-induced material degradation. Additionally, it is suitable for outdoor electronic accessories (such as outdoor sensor housings), automotive exterior trim parts, and outdoor lighting enclosures—all scenarios where long-term UV exposure is unavoidable.

The Relationship between Anti-UV Products and Polyurethane TPU Materials

DU-90A is essentially a modified variant of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material. It inherits the inherent advantages of polyurethane TPU, including excellent flexibility, high impact resistance, and good chemical compatibility. PRODUCT APPLICATION
